Google analytics is a free service from Google that makes it possible to monitor and analyse statistics about visitors to a given website. In this article, we’ll discuss how to trace the progress of your Blomming shop: Google's reports will make it possible to improve your marketing strategies and thereby increase your e-shop's performance.
- If you don’t yet have a Google Analytics account, get one here (a Gmail account is required). Click ‘Create an Account’ in the upper right corner. Fill in the required fields and click ‘Get tracking ID’. On the following page, simply select and copy the code that is generated. (Then, to see your ID, go to Manage > Ownership properties)
- Open your Blomming Account and go to Settings > Analytics. Then paste the tracking code.
Now you will be able to see how many visitors you get to your shop, how they found you and the most-viewed products. You will also be able to learn about the behaviour of your shop's visitors and thereby constantly improve your marketing activities on your database. You can track what happens on your Blomming.com shop, your Facebook shop and the shop embedded on your website/blog.
