You’ve opened your shop, uploaded your products, saved the shipment and store payment settings and started sharing your store on social media. Now it’s time to make your store window really shine!
Each online shop should be taken care of just like you’d tend to a brick and mortar shop: no one wants to buy products with scant to little information or items that aren't displayed well. Let's see how to create a complete listing that puts the item being sold in its best light.
The title: Don't underestimate the importance of the name given to each product, as it will determine its identity. Try to hit the mark: the title should be partially descriptive, providing a clear idea of what's being sold, and partially appeal to people's emotions, customizing the item and making it stand out from the crowd.
For example, it’s best not to use a product code that only the seller can understand as the title, or to simply write ‘bag’ or ‘chair’. Each item has a story to tell!
The description. Even if it may seem banal, it's very important to fill in the description field, providing a more complete explanation of the product you're offering for sale. Be sure to always include: what it is, how big it is and what it's made of.
Other information is always interesting, useful and sometimes even necessary, helping the buyer choose the right item. In addition, a complete, engaging and properly written description will make it more likely that the product will be chosen by the Blomming team to be promoted on Facebook.
Images: That’s ‘images’: plural. Blomming allows you to upload multiple pictures for each product, showing it from different angles and/or in different contexts. These pictures are an essential calling card that will attract the interest of visitors online. Always remember that images are the main selling tool for your products.
