If you're reading this article, it means you've decided to open your e-shop. Congratulations! Being a true Blommer, however, is an attitude. The definition of social marketplace suggests that each seller should communicate openly and freely with his or her target market. But how? Just follow a few simple steps to get started. Let’s take a look together.
- Create an account as a vendor
To open your online shop, you must first register with a personal account, filling in the form here.
If you've already registered, log in. Then, here, you’ll just need to enter the name and URL (alias or nickname) for your shop. If you haven’t registered yet, you can complete the registration data by entering your email* and password.
*Email. Carefully consider what email address you want to associate to your account, then enter it. In addition to making it possible to log in, it's where you will receive all notifications regarding your shop, including orders. The email address can be changed at any time from the ‘Sales > General settings’ panel.
- Basic info
After having created your shop, you will be asked some basic questions to get started. Enter the information and you will be redirected to your shop's dashboard (control panel).
You can always access your shop (or shops if you have more than one) from the menu by clicking ‘Sell’. If you haven’t yet logged in, you’ll need to do so to access your shop(s).
- Your logo and location
Adding information about who you are will help the customers who visit your shop get to know and trust you. From the ‘Settings > General’ panel, you can upload an image for your shop and add the city where it's found. Your shop's image cannot exceed 2MB; the ideal dimensions are 300x300 pixels. Here’s an example.
What now? Don’t be shy, it’s time to upload your first product to your new shop. Then you’ll be ready to share and promote it! The best part has just begun!
