(AVAILABLE ONLY FOR THE BLOMMING SUBSCRIPTION OPTION)
From the ‘Orders’ section of your dashboard, you can manually create an order for your customer by clicking the ‘+ Create order’ button at the top right. You will be redirected to the screen shown below.
The first thing to do is select the product(s) you want to add to the order, using the ‘Select product’ option if the product is already in your catalogue, or ‘Custom product’ if it isn’t.
‘Select product’ will let you search the catalogue for the product to add to the order by SKU or product name. ‘Custom product’ will let you add a product that you don’t have in your Blomming catalogue, requiring you to enter the name of the product, the quantity, the SKU and the price by hand.
Once you’ve added the product, you can select the language to use in messages sent about the item, indicate what customer to assign the order to, or add a new customer who isn’t yet in the ‘Customer’ database. If it’s a new customer or one that isn’t already registered within the platform, the order will always be prepared for a ‘Guest’ customer.
Select the payment method that will be used to pay for this order and set the order status to ‘Awaiting payment’ or ‘Paid’. Should the order have the status of ‘Awaiting payment’, the client will be sent an automated email containing a link to complete the payment (only for payments via PayPal or credit card). The template of the email can be customised by browsing to ‘Settings > Custom emails > New manual order’ (send payment link to customer). On the other hand, if the status is ‘Paid’, a confirmation email will be sent to the customer.
There's a section at the bottom of the page where you can add a note which is visible to the customer also.
Check to make sure the information entered is correct in the ‘Order summary’ section at the right. If everything is correct, click ‘Create order’.
Note: if you click ‘Discount’, you can add a discount or coupon applied to the final price. If you click ‘Shipping’, you can manually add the shipping fee or select one of the shipping methods that you’ve saved to your shop.
