By heading to Sales Channels > E-commerce > SEO, you will brought to the SEO menu, which is made up of two sub-menus: ‘Sitemap settings’ and ‘SEO page statistics’.
In the first menu, you can decide if you want to generate the sitemap of your shop automatically once a day, or use the ‘Generate sitemap’ feature on the upper right side of the page to create it manually. This feature generates a sitemap compatible with the world’s leading search engines. The sitemap will include all your product URLs, categories, custom pages and statistics pages. Once you’ve saved the sitemap, you can send it to Google and Bing through the ‘Send sitemap to Google’ and ‘Send sitemap to Bing’ buttons.
Both buttons will open a new browser window with a message indicating the sitemap has been sent to the search engines. It’s possible to decide which URLs to remove and decide whether or not to send the sitemap as HTTP or HTTPS.
On the ‘SEO statistics page’, you can change the meta tags used by search engines to index your shop. You can also update the meta tags for the following pages:
On each page, you can customise the SEO title, description and keywords.
