Browse to Sales Channels > E-commerce > Pages to create new pages on your web boutique.
All you need to do is click ‘+ Add page’, and you’ll be routed to a window where you’ll fill in the details for the page you want to create. ‘Add link to the main menu’ is activated by default. This option must be enabled if you want to add the page to a navigation menu.
Now give your new page a name. Being the first, it will automatically be considered the main page. However, in the following steps, you can set the page that you're creating as the main page, or as a sub-page of a main page, thereby creating a 'tree’ of pages. If you insert a main page into a custom menu, the sub-pages will automatically be displayed as a sub-menu.
Thanks to our easy-to-use text editor, you can add all the content, links, charts, images and embedded videos (already published on YouTube) you want.
If you click the YouTube () icon, a window will open where you can enter the URL of the YouTube video and set all the necessary display parameters.
If you click the image icon (), you can enter image URLs and set the relative display parameters.
If you click the link icon (), you can enter the URL of another page, category or section of your website, or a PDF file (previously uploaded under Tools > Files > Documents).
Browsing to Sales Channels > E-commerce > Theme > Customise, you can enter the pages in different sections of the website, for example: as links in the footer or links in a navigation menu.
Note: if you add a widget to a page created from the customisation of a theme, that widget, with the same settings, will be automatically added and displayed on all the pages you've created. Changes made to the widget on one page will be automatically applied to all pages which are not system pages (i.e. those present when the shop was opened). For that reason, we do not advise using widgets on the pages you create, unless the desired effect is precisely to have the same widget on every page (such as a banner or the highlighted products widget).
