(AVAILABLE ONLY FOR THE BLOMMING SUBSCRIPTION OPTION)
From the ‘Marketing > Coupons’ menu, you can create discount coupons that you can provide to your customers for purchases in your shop. The coupon chart shows what coupons you’ve created and also indicates if they are ‘active’ (usable), the name of the discount code, the value of the discount, the minimum amount a customer has to spend to use them (if any), the number of times they've been used, the number of times they can still be used, and the expiry date.
To search for a coupon among those created, use the ‘Search’ link on the upper right.
To delete one or more coupons selected via the check box to the side of the coupon’s ‘status’, click the ‘Update’ button at the top and then ‘Delete’.
To add a new coupon, click the ‘+ Add’ button on the top right. You will be directed to the coupon details window, where you can fill out the necessary fields for its creation.
In the example shown below, we’re creating a coupon that would give customers a 10% discount on purchases between 14/10 and 31/10, on shopping cart totals of at least €100, excluding shipping expenses, and which can be used only once.
The summary section will list the characteristics that we've just entered. We could also add a tag to the coupon to find it easily among all our other coupons. Click ‘Add discount’ and the coupon is added to our coupon catalogue.
You can send the coupon code to your loyal customers or prospects/new customers via your mailing list, social media, attaching them to abandoned shopping cart emails, etc.
Note: you can use just one coupon for each shopping cart. The coupons created in the ‘amount subtracted’ instead of ‘percentage value’ mode can be used only if the amount to be subtracted is lesser than or equal to the value of the cart to which the coupon will be applied. For example: if I set a coupon that offers a €50 discount, the total of the cart must be at least €50 (so, in the ‘minimum cart amount’ field, you’ll need to enter €50).
